Stacey Neilson, RMT

Stacey (she/her) graduated with honours from Centennial College in 2008. She provides treatments for rehabilitation, pregnancy, general health maintenance, and the reduction of stress and anxiety using Swedish massage, for clients across their entire lifespan, from infancy to seniors. Her primary clinical interests are the effects of massage therapy on mental health and related symptoms, and the use of massage for maintaining long term physical function.

Stacey is a part-time teacher in Centennial College’s Massage Therapy program, where she enjoys helping students succeed in their journey to become Registered Massage Therapists. She is also the author and co-author of a number of journal articles and chapters in textbooks, and is an interested and active participant in various aspects of massage therapy research. Her work keeps her up to date with the newest findings in the area of massage, including complementary and alternative medicine.

In addition to her advanced diploma in Massage Therapy, Stacey has a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in applied ethics from Trent University.
